The ultimate swim-in-place experience
Every E550 design decision has been made in order to elevate the swimming experience. By removing the seats found in the other Endless Pools models, you get greater water flow and more space to exercise. The soothing hydromassage jets remain, but are instead delivered in a stand-up configuration.
The key to the E550 experience is the high-end propulsion system. It uses powerful hydraulics and a clever conditioning grill to drive a perfectly laminar (turbulence-free) current that totally encapsulates the swimmer. You can set the pace at anything from a slow paddle (4:04/100m) to a professional-level sprint (1:14/100m) at which point an incredible 19,000L of water will be moved every minute.
More than just swimming
While the E550 may have been designed with swimmers in mind, the truth is that this swim spa offers a plethora of aquacise and hydrotherapy functionality. The current can be used for resistance training, and by installing the Endless Pools underwater treadmill - an optional extra - you’ll enjoy all the fitness benefits of walking, jogging and running, but thanks to the buoyancy of the water, you’ll feel none of the impact! This makes the E550 an ideal choice for anyone who experiences pain in joints and soft tissues.
And while the seating may have been removed, the E550 still delivers similar levels of hydromassage to the other models in the Endless Pools stable. The back corners of the spa feature 23 separate jets that are ready to offer relief to tense and tired muscles.
